Fairfax, VA (May 20, 2020) — ENODO Global Inc. and the George Washington University (GW)’s Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration completed a four-month Capstone Project that examined the security risks associated with Huawei’s 5G implementation, economic impacts of sanctions against Huawei, and social implications associated with Huawei’s 5G rollout.

The Capstone team produced a Social Risk Analysis that highlights the challenges faced by both Huawei and the U.S. government and their inability to shape public perception. The report’s recommendations deliver novel solutions to help both Huawei and the U.S. Government develop and enact favorable policy decisions that enable the successful implementation of Huawei’s 5G technology into the U.S. telecommunications infrastructure.
